The training fee is £8.00 for a two-hour session.
New students can apply for membership with the instructor at any of our classes. The membership includes insurance cover in case of personal injuries during training. Most sports governing bodies encourage responsible member martial art organisations to have their members covered through a recommended insurance policy.
First of all, please obtain an official Shaolin Kickboxing membership application form from any of our instructors (or download it from the link to the left). In order to complete it the following will be required:
- Two passport size photographs of the applicant.
- Correct membership fee at £45.00 (on a yearly basis). If paid by cheque, please make it payable to “Shaolin Kickboxing Club”.
As with other martial arts organisations a uniform is essential. Specially manufactured for Shaolin Kickboxing by a very reputable company using 60% cotton and 40% polyester (this prevents the fabric from shrinking) our uniform should last for years if kept correctly.
A detailed breakdown of what the £45 membership fee covers is included on the application form, together some of our club's policies. Should any prospective member have any questions the instructor will be happy to answer them.
All new students can train at our classes for two sessions before deciding whether to become a Shaolin Kickboxing member.
Correct stretching techniques are essential to develop kicking power and accuracy whilst avoiding injury
